Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Policy

JurisSetu is committed to fair and transparent refund practices. This policy applies to all purchases made on the Platform including subscription plans, expert consultations, and certificate services. All refund requests must be submitted via email to support@jurissetu.com within the time limits specified below.

2. Subscription Plans

3. Expert Consultation Services

  • Before Expert Acceptance: Full refund if the expert has not yet accepted the case. Refund processed within 5–7 business days.
  • After Expert Acceptance but Before Work Begins: 75% refund. 25% is retained as platform processing fee.
  • After Work is In Progress: No refund. If you are dissatisfied with the expert's work, you may raise a dispute (see Section 5).
  • Completed Opinions / Certificates: No refund after a certificate or formal opinion has been issued and delivered to you.

4. Certificate Services

Once a certificate has been issued and digitally delivered, no refund shall be provided as the professional service has been rendered. If the certificate contains a material error due to incorrect information provided by the expert (not the user), a free re-issuance may be requested within 7 days.

5. Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with an expert's work, you may raise a dispute within 7 days of delivery:

  1. Email disputes@jurissetu.com with your case ID and reasons
  2. Our team will review within 3 business days
  3. We may request additional information from both parties
  4. Resolution decision is final and communicated within 10 business days
  5. Outcomes may include partial refund, re-assignment to another expert, or platform credit

6. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. Refunds are credited to the original payment method. UPI and bank transfers may take 3–5 additional business days depending on your bank. Credit/debit card refunds may take 7–10 business days.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be issued under the following circumstances:

  • You were unhappy with the AI-generated response (AI responses are provided on best-effort basis)
  • You changed your mind after the service was rendered
  • Your account was terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service
  • You provided incorrect or incomplete information that affected the quality of the opinion
  • External circumstances changed after the opinion was issued

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other applicable consumer protection legislation. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may approach the relevant consumer forum. Our Grievance Officer can be reached at grievance@jurissetu.com.
