Important Notice: Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using JurisSetu. By registering or using the platform, you unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. About JurisSetu

JurisSetu (jurissetu.com) is an AI-powered legal information and research platform operated by [Company Name], a company incorporated under the laws of India ("Platform", "we", "us", "our"). JurisSetu provides legal information, AI-generated research, access to independent verified legal professionals, compliance tools, and related services. JurisSetu is NOT a law firm, is NOT engaged in the practice of law, and is NOT a regulated legal services provider. The platform acts as a technology intermediary connecting users with legal information resources and independent professionals.

2. Nature of Services — Critical Disclaimer

2.1. JurisSetu provides LEGAL INFORMATION, not legal advice. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice or creates a lawyer-client relationship between you and JurisSetu or any expert on the platform. 2.2. AI-generated responses are based on information available in the AI system's training data and may not reflect the most current state of the law, recent court judgments, or new notifications. 2.3. Expert opinions provided through the platform represent the independent professional view of the respective expert and are based solely on the information provided by the user. 2.4. All outputs, opinions, certificates, and responses on JurisSetu are provided "as is" and should not be treated as a substitute for obtaining independent professional advice from a qualified legal professional of your choice. 2.5. No action should be taken or omitted based solely on the outputs of JurisSetu without independent verification from a qualified professional.

3. Limitation of Liability

3.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JurisSetu, its directors, employees, partners, agents, and technology providers shall NOT be liable for any: • Direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities • Any legal outcome, regulatory action, litigation result, or financial consequence arising from or in connection with the use of JurisSetu or reliance on its outputs. 3.2. Where liability cannot be fully excluded by law, the maximum aggregate liability of JurisSetu to any user shall be limited to the amount paid by that user for the specific service giving rise to the claim, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. 3.3. JurisSetu does not warrant that: (a) information on the platform is complete, accurate, or up-to-date; (b) the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free; (c) any specific legal outcome will be achieved.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using the platform. 4.2. You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on the platform's outputs. 4.3. You agree not to use JurisSetu for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to: harassment, fraud, fabricating evidence, or circumventing legal proceedings. 4.4. You agree not to reverse-engineer, scrape, or commercially exploit the platform's AI outputs. 4.5. You are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding contract.

5. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

5.1. All fees are exclusive of applicable GST and taxes, which shall be payable in addition. 5.2. Subscription fees are billed monthly. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled 24 hours before the renewal date. 5.3. Expert consultation fees are held in escrow. Release to the expert occurs upon delivery of the opinion. 5.4. Refunds are available only where an expert fails to deliver the commissioned opinion within the agreed timeframe. Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has commenced. 5.5. In case of payment disputes, write to billing@jurissetu.com within 7 days of the transaction.

6. Expert Marketplace

6.1. Experts on JurisSetu are independent professionals and not employees or agents of JurisSetu. 6.2. JurisSetu verifies expert credentials through their registration bodies but does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or completeness of any expert opinion. 6.3. JurisSetu is not responsible for any professional misconduct or negligent advice given by an expert. Users may report such issues to the relevant professional regulatory body. 6.4. The platform earns a commission on expert service fees. This arrangement does not create any agency or employment relationship.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. All content on JurisSetu including AI models, algorithms, design, trademarks, and original text is the intellectual property of JurisSetu and is protected under applicable IP laws. 7.2. User queries and responses may be used in anonymised, aggregated form to improve the platform's AI systems, subject to our Privacy Policy and DPDP consent. 7.3. Certified opinions purchased by users remain the property of the user for their personal, non-commercial use.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

8.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. 8.2. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual negotiation within 30 days. 8.3. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement, conducted in [City], India. 8.4. Subject to arbitration, courts in [City], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

9. Modifications
